"Our guide Molly was enthusiastic, welcoming, informative and passionate about Chicago. Oh, and the boat ride was cool too." TripAdvisor, Aug. 26, 2019

"I took my parents on this tour. I have lived in Chicago before and have done an architecture tour previously so I wasn’t that interested. How I was wrong. This tour was fantastic. Staff were friendly and professional. I felt safe and the information was interesting with a little bit of humour. Shout out to Molly our tour guide absolutely brilliant. You could tell she loved architecture and she wanted to be there. She even told some loud people near us to be quiet which was good for my parents who were having trouble hearing her on the mic." "We could not have asked for a better day for the tour. It was pretty hot that day but once on the boat the wind and breeze were perfect! There was a cash bar on the boat and served an iced tea, vodka, and ginger ale which was very refreshing. They have an open top deck but down below are more seats, bathrooms, and the bar. But would suggest sitting up top for sure. Our tour guide...Molly was fabulous. She was so informative and kept the tour lively! We learned lots of facts about the lake/river and buildings along the river which we did not know and were truly fascinating. It really is a beautiful lake and river but taking the tour is well worth it. It was a 90 min tour and really even a little longer. Would highly recommend." TripAdvisor, July 2, 2019

"I took the evening boat tour and it was just amazing! It helped that there weren't a lot of people and that the weather was perfect. Our guide, Molly, was fantastic! Gave great historical information and tidbit facts. It was the perfect time to go for amazing views. Also a full bar with some snacks." Yelp, May 5, 2019

"We took the architectural boat tour on a beautiful sunny hot day. I think Molly was our tour guide. She did a wonderful job explaining the architectures and also made it fun and entertaining. Tour was 70 minutes long and it went fast." TripAdvisor, Sept. 18, 2018

"Went for the 6:30pm Chicago Architectural Tour $39 for 75mins. I used my weather app to see when the sun was going to set and planned my trip according to that. I wanted to see Chicago at sunset. The tour was amazing. Our guide was Molly, who's an art teacher, and she was AMAZING. So knowledgeable, personable, and funny. Everything about the tour was interesting- from the architecture of the buildings, the history behind the buildings, to the history of the river, to the current renovations. It was seriously a fun tour. And the view of Chicago that you get is unlike no other. It truly is breathtaking. I would 100% recommend this to anyone looking to see a different side of the city." "This was probably the best part of our trip. We enjoyed every aspect of the signature tour and our guide, Molly, was extremely friendly and great at politely keeping the large groups from ruining the trip for the rest of us with their loud conversations while she was trying to speak. I would recommend this tour to anyone! I was also very pleasantly surprised to find a restroom and bar on board!" Facebook, July 17, 2018

"My husband and I took the Architecture River Cruise in July 2018. Our family is local to the Chicago area and Wendella came highly recommended by them. The ticket counter is quite hard to find, but we had no trouble once we found it. The line forms 30 minutes before the cruise and the boat boards 15 minutes before the cruise. I would recommend getting in line early so you can pick your seat. It was quite sunny and warm on the top of the boat. I recommended bringing a hat and sunscreen. They have hats and sunscreen for purchase for $15+. The tour guide was a lovely young lady (Molly) with a rich history about nearly all of the buildings in sight. She carefully explained the details of why/how and when the buildings were constructed and who the masterminds were behind the designs. The cruise was 75 mins for $39/pp and well worth it. The boat is furnished with an lower deck (with air conditioning) and a full service bar. Our 22 oz crafter beers were $8/each. Even if you're not into architecture, its wonderful to get a different perspective of the city--- it makes for some great photos!" Yelp, July 11, 2018

"Wendella Sightseeing Boats did not disappoint. Our tour guide, Molly did an exceptional job of explaining all about the buildings we saw along the river. She was articulate and very detailed in her explanations and did not make you feel you were listening to a recorded message that had been repeated over and over again....You will not be disappointed booking a Chicago Architectural River Tour with Wendella Sightseeing Tours...If Molly is your guide you are in for a special treat!" "This was our first time taking the architectural tour of downtown Chicago. We had the 1:30 PM cruise on Sunday afternoon. We boarded pretty close to the scheduled departure time. Our tour host, Molly did a fantastic job informing us of the different structures on the tour along with some history of the buildings. The cruise was 75 minutes long and definitely worth the money." "The amazing views and photo opportunities are worth the price of admission alone, but the friendly staff and informative tour is the real icing on the cake. Our host, Molly I believe, was very entertaining and full of information. Even as a Chicago native I learned new things and got to experience views of my city that I've never seen before. I will definitely be returning again for another tour soon." TripAdvisor, Oct. 15, 2017
